Being Black and Living Abroad

October 11, 2018

In this episode of Echoes on air!, Janelle is joined by Tia Goolsby, Jeremy Johnson, and Darnell Lamont Walker, as they discuss being black and living abroad. They discuss some of the differences in cultures and why they chose to, as Darnell calls it, seek asylum outside of the U.S. in the times of racial unrest.

*Jeremy's intro was super quiet so: Jeremy is from Dallas, Texas and has lived in Abu Dhabi for 6 years where he teaches English.
